SALEM WOODS CIVIC ASSOCIATION BOARD MEETING
3/4/09
The Board Meeting of the Salem Woods Civic Association was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by
President Kirk Traber with the following Board members present: Kirk Traber, Scott Kittell,
Heidi Rosen, Sarah Ezell, Christine Ward, Eilleen Beckert, Wayne Barnett
Old Business: There was no old business to discuss.
New Business:
Welcome Committee, Doris Meixel
Doris needs more welcome bags to hand out to new residents. The Board voted on and
approved a budget for 2009 in the amount of $200 for welcome wagon.
The Board also discussed the possibility of taking donations at our spirit functions. Also
discussed was placing a box (locked) at the entrance to the functions with a sign asking
for donations (would be a minimum donation) as a way of raising monies to help pay for
spirit functions.
Vice President, Scott Kittell:
The Neighborhood watch is coming along and is currently figuring out block captains, as
well as gathering more signatures.
President, Kirk Traber:
The Board tabled HOA discussion until next meeting. Kirk is going to meet with the
attorney to ask questions and discuss this matter. He will advise board at April meeting.
The Board needs to be updated about website by Dustin.
Spirit Committee,
Sarah Ezell, The Easter Egg Hunt for SW children is scheduled for April 5th at 3pm.
