Salem Woods Civic Association Board Meeting
3/6/08/08
The Board Meeting of the Salem Woods Civic Association was called to order by
President Dr. Barry Ezell on March 6, 2008 at 7 p.m.
Board Members present included Dr. Barry Ezell, Jim and Maureen Newton, Amy
Martinez, and Pete Leavitt. Office Manager Kathy Toll was also present.
Dr. Ezell moved that the minutes from the February Board meeting be approved. The
motion was seconded and the motion carried.
Old Business: There was no old business to discuss.
President Barry Ezell discussed the following:
Donations for Scholarship Run: Donations have come in the form of certificates
or items from Pepsi, Cinema Café and the Founder’s Inn, and $50.00 will be
donated from Bon Secours.
Google Doc’s has been set up as a way for Board members to share and make
changes to information online.
The Board will be working on policy statements for pool
rules/functions/procedures and membership.
The By-laws will be updated.
Past Board members will be sent letters to come back and join SWCA
